From Beehives to Handcrafted Candles

Brian's journey began at twelve, apprenticing with Walter, a local beekeeper and candle maker. His payment wasn't cash—it was three beehives of his own. Together, they tended 150 beehives, crafted candles by hand, and sold honey at local craft shows. That summer shaped everything that followed.

Building a Craft

Inspired by traditional beeswax candle making, Brian developed his own artisan techniques. By 15, he was selling handcrafted candles and honey at local craft shows. His products soon reached the finest gift stores throughout the Northeast.
